What is wrong with this logic?

The good folk at Connex, in an effort to actually provide a service that equated to the cost we are paying for it, pledged an extra 328  services would run (you may recall the vaguely offensive ad campaign that tried to fool us into believing that we were getting a world’s best practice service).

Since these extra trains came into service,  the number of cancelled trains has averaged 370 due to the need for more maintenance.

Now, I don’t claim to have the cognitive powers of famous mathematician Eratosthenes of Cyrene  (who measured the diameter of the earth), but that seems like 42 fewer services… Thankyou Connex.

If you don’t already know about my resolution to this problem, then check it out here… Its not too late folks!

No real relevance with this pic, just looking for continuity of a theme.
